Jazz+
Anybody know what keyboards, modules and samples he uses on the current tour? Harry Likas was the Technical Editor of Mark Levine's "The Jazz Theory Book" and helped develop "The Jazz Piano Book." LithoJazzoSphere
I know he was using a Yamaha Motif ES 8 and a Yamaha C-7 grand pretty recently, not sure if it's the same in the past few months. A picture may paint a thousand words, but a melody can paint a thousand pictures.
Moon Zero Two
Besides those two he used his midi'ed Rhodes Mark V.

LithoJazzoSphere
Someone posted a mini-concert review in a thread a bit back, and wrote, "Saw a Chick Corea concert recently and he had some cool gear: Acoustic Grand Piano (not sure what model) [LJS: Yamaha C-7 I'm pretty sure] Rhodes MK II Stage (with midi) - hooked up to Motif ES8 And some kind of strap on keyboard [LJS: Yamaha KX-5 I think] He used the Rhodes most of the time, but ripped a couple solos on the Motif and, of course, used the acoustic for all his older standards. He also used the midi function on the Rhodes a lot. He'd make it sound a lot like a DX7 piano, but with that Rhodesy undertone, then unMIDI it and play some screaming solo old school style." A picture may paint a thousand words, but a melody can paint a thousand pictures.
