Geoff Grace
My NARAS free AES registration form arrived today, so I'm hooked up in that respect. I'm planning on going if I can find the time. If it turns out that I can get up to SF for AES, I'd definitely like to do a dinner or something... Philip OKeefe
As I said over on SSS, I'm down for dinner, but can't commit to a specific night until I see what EQ has me obligated to first. But yeah, I'm down for dinner (as always) as long as I'm not already tied up on the night in question.

Stephen Fortner
I'll be there contributing to Keyboard mag's coverage, and would love to do a dinner hang. Hallowe'en in San Francisco! Wonder who's playing at Biscuits and Blues (great club on Mason and Geary) throughout... ? I caught Brian Auger there last time I was up north, and the food is great too. A dinner / live music hang would be a cool idea. Dave The Rave
dB, thanks for the invite from ADAM. I filled in the form for a pass just now. I've not been to an AES before - should be interesting. Dinner and/or live music any night sounds great to me! Seriously, I've never met a more brow-beaten bunch of guys than musicians. They can't even practice without spoiling somebody else's plans. Or, maybe that's just the good-looking musicians? Beats me. Dave Pierce
I don't think I'll make the show, but I'd like to have dinner with you guys. I'll have to blow off rehearsal to do it, but I figure you guys are worth it. I love the Biscuits & Blues idea. That work for anyone else? The band that night is Lavay Smith & her Red-Hot Skillet Lickers. Never heard of them, but you gotta admit it's a cool name. I was going to suggest the Boom Boom Room, which has a very nice house B3. But the band doesn't look to be organ-oriented that night, so I figure huffing over to the Fillmore District to watch it gather dust is maybe not so cool. --Dave Make my funk the P-funk. I'm game for that unless someone else has a better idea. Their web site says they handle the private parties, and their menu looks pretty interesting (and yes, there are veggie dishes, Geoff). I've already emailed them about availability. 7 PM okay for y'all, or is that too tight? They take dinner reservations up 'til 7:30... dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network

Dave Bryce
Originally posted by steadyb: Well, I didn't want to Bring anyone's name up specifically.Yeah, yeah... Have a look at their web site, which I linked to above - the band thing is a separate part of the evening. It appears as if they start well after dinner is over if you get there before 7:30, and costs extra if you want to stay to see the band. However, if you guys wanna do a different place, I have no problem with that. Maybe The Stinking Rose ? dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
