pygmallion
I have had my trusty ASR since the first week it came out back in the 90's.Unfortunately I never upgraded the SCSI adaptor.. Does anyone have any information about them, or the best place to buy them from???Not really sure its worth it really....Using Gigastudio now, and keep the ASR around mostly for its effect unit. But there seems to be a fairly large following online. Thanks for any information -pygmallion
DaveMcM
Hello, Have you tried http://www.syntaur.com ? They may have a SCSI kit for the ASR. Another possibility is to contact Emu at http://www.emu.com/support/custsup.asp since Creative Labs purchased the remainder of ENSONIQ and merged it with Emu, a previously acquired company. There is also a Yahoo newsgroup of former ENSONIQ employees that I am happy to be a member of called http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ex-ensoniq/ and you might find someone there that might have an ASR SCSI kit that they would part with. Sorry, I looked in my stash and don't have one. Best of luck, Dave McMahanGeneralmusic USA Wm. David McMahan I Play, Therefore I Am
