I'm 99% sure that the order I posted for Vol. 7 will stand. I need to give it one or two more listens, but I'm liking what I'm hearing so far.

I'll let you know within 24 hours if anything is gonna change.

You'd figure I'd know better than to post something like this before I'm 100% sure...

Two minor changes - I moved Phil's tune more to the front and my tune more towards the back. It flows better now.

We haven't begun to do that yet, but we will today.

We're going to do them as a double disc in a single case, as Jim "Jackpine" Miles has made it possible for us to do this for the same $10 as a single disc usually costs. :thu:

Steve J - what I suggests far as the art is this:

Janet's painting on the front of course, then I'm thinking all the info for V7 on one inside page and the credits for V8 on the other inside page, with the dedication and production credits on the back page and the titles only on the tray card.

Whaddaya think?

Okay, here's the probable track listing for Vol. 8!!

Selena Walks - DJDM

Cirrus - Jardini

Take the Lead - Jeff Irok

Monologue - Jerry Aiyuthurai

Almost What? - Roland Genske

Chasing Kai - Rob T

Have a Laugh - Steve LeBlanc

Room Chassis - astor

Wednesday - Marino

sleepless - bleen

Maui Vice - Mojazz

The Circus - Markyboard

Just Hanging - Jazzman

Lift - DafDuc

Tell Me a Story - JimmywannaB

The Journey - Llarion

Wonderful High - FrankieP

I'm just waiting on a remix of one tune to address some distortion issues and then I'll master this puppy up! :thu:

It's been a pleasure to listen to these tracks a number of times already - you are a seriously talented group of musicians!

This probably doesn't matter to you, Don, but to Steve J, this is not the correct title.

Room Chassis - astor
Note that my contribution is entitled:

Removable Chassis (World Mix) - astor

I'll post my creds on the other thread regardless.

My fault, Michele.

I only have eight max naming characters to work with in my Masterlink, and abbreviated your cut to RmChassis. When I sent Don the titles, I obviously just incorrectly remembered what the abbreviation meant.

Sorry... :o

Hi, Ian! Great to hear from you!

Volume 7/8 are a double disc set, and unfortunately we are no longer accepting submissions for them as we're about to send them off for duplication this week. Sorry...

No worries, though - I imagine that there'll be more... ;)

Hi Steve - If it's not too much trouble, I would like to use my real name, Carlo Mezzanotte, on the tune "Wednesday", instead of the nickname Marino. I did that in all the other compilations too.

Just a reminder, the title of my tune is

Just Hangin'

Dave and Bleen, please make the correction before it gets too far along.

I keep seeing the name with a "g" on the end on these threads.

Thanks,

Jazzman

You might wanna make sure and note this in the Vol. 8 credits thread, George...
