  1. It has been a while since I last posted a track here, 10 years or so! So here is one of my new tracks It is meant to bring up memories of warm summer evening in 1976 with Mellotron Strings, Mellotron 8 voice choir, Mellotron Flute and Hammond Organ. Recorded with a Nord Electro 3.
  2. After 4 years of recording on and off (that's having twins for you!) Over Christmas I decided to get back in to music and finish a CD. So now that I have finished 15 tracks I am still not sure about the whole distribution model. I was thinking something like Cafe Press (on demand) rather than getting a batch produced (after all is more of a vanity project!) Anyway I have 4 tracks ready to listen to. More details on my download page Please have a listen http://iandixon.co.uk/nuke/NewCD/tabid/137/Default.aspx

  8. istyle The basic drum rif is from a ER1 and I played the livee sounding drums off my Korg i3 via the keyboard (no loops) I do like using a drum machine loop and playing the drums along with it. I listened to some of your tunes, good stuff. Ian
  9. Thanks for that, I was going for the 80's feel with the DX, you don't here that sound very much now, and the brass sounds add to that feel (the brass is also from a DX) Not all my stuff sounds like that, but its a fun track. I listened to Abandoned, it reminded me of early 70's Pink Floyd, it could have been off Meddle. I wish a could play the guitar, it brings a track out I will listen to some more later Ian
