sugarfrieddotcom
Hey Guys,I picked up an old wurly 200 that is in desperate need of restoration. Playing with it unplugged all of the keys work and it sounds 99% in tune! It powers up, but I don't get any sound through the onboard speakers or the 1/4" out. The only thing I get is a buzz... Can anyone here point me in the direction of someone in illinois, midwest, US that still works on these? Thanks!Jim
mojosaur
If you go to egroups and register, then do a search on Wurlizer you will find a SIG for Wurly freaks.....a lot of them work on em' and I am sure you will find a repair person. I have a working 140 that I will be selling....although shipping from NY would be expensive.....I don't play it much.
sugarfrieddotcom
Thanks! That is an excellent idea, I am on my way now... Try selling your 140 on ebay, they always seem to sell for a little higher than what they go for in music stores around here...Thanks again,Jim
