IMO, In and Out makes the best burgers in the world. Their shakes are also excellent, but their fries are not as good as McDonalds. The cilantro is an interesting touch, but I'd sure enjoy watching you try and find a steak shop in Philly that'll have cilantro, much less put in on a cheesesteak. Oh yeah, and the dipping thing? Forget that - if it ain't on the sandwich, it shoudn't be part of the sandwich. I've said it before and I'll say it again - a "real" Philadelphia cheesesteak consists of meat, WHITE American cheese or Cheese Whiz (I hate Cheese Whiz), roll and maybe fried onions. Period. Ketchup is acceptable as well. Anything else, and it becomes a different sandwich. Another key Philly delicacy is called a Pizza Steak, and has provolone cheese and tomato sauce instead of the American cheese and ketchup. Actually, my absolute fave is at the Gold Rush casino. They have a 24 hour special of a 1/2 pound cheeseburger with fries for $1.35! If you don't want cheese, it's only a buck. Of course, you have to tip the waitress, but you can still get out of there for less than two and a half bucks. And it's good, too! If I go looking for fast food, I'll try finding a Wendy's... taco hell sucks. But I'll usually avoid it at all costs. What is the point of fast food anyways? There's plenty of take out restaunts. Wendy's in the ONLY one that doesn't absolutely suck. Waiter comes with a big slab of meat and cuts a slice right into your plate. I go to a little hole in the wall in Jersey (Mexican-bottled sodas, Mariachi jukebox, no English spoken) for my fix, but even that isn't as good as So Cal. Too bad, it was pretty damn good.
