Imagine
You've probably seen my other post "HELP!!!!!". Well, I'm not getting any closer to finding out what the problem is, but instead of restarting my computer every time my MTP stops responding to midi, I unplug the USB cable from the back of my computer, wait 2-3 seconds and I plug the cable back in, and then the MTP responds to midi again. Does this tell you anything? For those of you who haven't seen my other post, I've been dealing with a very unstable MTP-AV (USB version for Mac), where my MTP stops responding to midi for no apparent reason and I had to restart my computer every time that happened. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Imagine
b_3guy
Is only the MTP going or do you have keyboards or modules tied on it. Did it ever work correctly? Or has it never worked? Steve www.seagullphotodesign.com
Dave Bryce
Mine did the same thing for a while, actually. It drove me completely nuts as well. In my case, it turned out that there was some tension on the cables going to the back of the unit...once I relieved the tension, the problem went away. Hope your resolution is as simple...have you called MOTU? dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <==
Imagine
I do have keyboards connected to it. It never happened before DP3. I thought it was software problem, but MOTU disagrees. The MTP has always functioned correctly. I'll try unplugging and plugging the cables. Perhaps, that could be it. If anyone has had any luck with this situation, I'm all ears.
