Steve LeBlanc
I had to know absolutely for sure so I asked the Man himself. I asked Booker T. if he ever played a VOX and what he used on Green Onions and this was his response: Hi Steve, Never touched or owned a Vox. Only Hammonds for recording. Green Onions was a Hammond M-3 --- every thing else was a B-3. Thanks, BT So there ya go http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif...nice of him to respond so quickly. http://www.youtube.com/notesleb

b_3guy
So it was a M. I stand corrected. The main difference between the M & the B series is the shortened keyboards. The keys went from F to C on the Upper & I think C to F on the Lower. They were the same waterfall-style keys. The tone generator is the same so it has the same grit & bite that the B has. The cabinet of course was the Spinet style for home use complete with built in speakers. Thru a Leslie it will sonically sound like a B-3, unlike the L-100 series.
