Krakit
I (and I see a couple of other folks) have inquired about a follow up compilation CD in the thread that bears its name. I wanted to get another thread started just for this question. I really want to participate, but I won't be able to have my equipment setup for recording for at least a few more weeks, if not a couple of months. I'm hoping that another compilation will be in the offing sometime down the road. I'm guessing that I'm not alone in this boat. There must be other folks that want to be part of something like this that haven't got enough time right now. So, what's the status of such a thing. Perhaps a regular quarterly offering? Jg42
Maybe more often? Like, say, every month?... I'm serious and ready to participate... ------------------ Cheers, Arseny http://www.mp3.com/arseny

I sure hope it ISN'T every month. Too much of a good thing and all that. I'd hate to see these projects "rushed", which I'm afraid would happen if there were 12 a year. Four times a year wouldn't be so bad, but I'd be happy if I knew that there'd be something every six months or even once a year. But annually is about all I would want to wait. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif
Rod S
Humm... I'm glad to see the excitement, which bit me as well since I got together and actually finished a song http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif But I'd love to see the 1st one go through before we get ahead of ourselves. I think we made a lot of headway so far, but I think we should take things one step at a time. I'm glad Dave volunteered his time for the 1st one, let's see that one go through, and then we'll get things going for a second one (which is where my entry may end up anyways, if it doesn't get voted off http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif ). I can see that Gus already volunteered, assuming all we are doing is putting songs together with no mastering or anything. I'd say let's get this one done, figure out the logistics, and then plan the future ones. I'm willing to help with what I can, but my mixing/mastering skills are none and I don't have a burner, so I'm pretty useless http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif BTW, one every 6 months sounds good. b_3guy
I have other tunes. I'm sure others do as well. So there will be lots of material for other compilations. Steve www.seagullphotodesign.com
Llarion
I'm all for it, since I don't expect to make the cut on the first one... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif But, there's enough amazing stuff flying around for at LEAST 2 excellent CDs... I'm sure there's no shortage of material; hell I have 34 songs I could submit today. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif ------------------ Cheers!
