sbrock1san.rr.com
I don't want a team to win who has a stadium full of thugs and rowdy a-holes who yell at and intimidate the opposing teams fans. Besides , I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan and Al Davis has always been our bitch.

Dude - that's half of the stadiums in the league! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif Besides , I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan and Al Davis has always been our bitch. That was true for a long time - not this year, though http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif You guys got Vermeil, though. Congrats - nice acquisition. dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
Pim
Are you guys talking about a sport where you play a "ball" most time with your hands, and is called football? I like REAL football very much, but why do you call my beloved game soccer? http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif So for all football fans: Go Ajax! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif And for all American football fans: Go SF49'ers. Pim
JoseC, with all respect to the great team of Real Madrid: when was the last time Real defeaded Ajax? Ajax gave them a few lessons in football, remember? But you are absolutely right: over the years Real Madrid has been the best club. No doubt! ------------------ -- Pim -- www.dancewave.nl My Music I always wondered what happened after the fade out?
dansouth
Madrid? From this side of the ocean, it looks to me like les types francais are in charge. And how about those nice, friendly gents from Manchester United? I have no idea why we call it soccer. Nobody else calls it that. It's like someone seeing the Statue of Liberty and calling it Miss America. Kind of daft. We call OUR game football, because we have fullbacks and halfbacks, just like the rest of the world. Plus we have two guys on each team who do nothing but kick the ball - no running, no sweating, no defense, just kicking. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif DiMaggio? No, he's no longer with us. How about Pele? Real men play rugby. No pads. No helmets. No rest. Just blood, sweat, and mud. Rugby and Austrailian Rules Football. Who knows why they included the word "Rules" in the name? There aren't any, as far as I can tell. Hey, Oakland and Minnesota, what happened? I was looking forward to an exciting Super Bowl. Better luck next year. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/frown.gif
