zildjian cleaning polish?

ok i'm using zildjian cleaning polish for the first time... now if you have used this before you know the amount of black crap that comes up... my question is, is this abrasive? is it ok to do this allot? will it slowly wear my cymbals down? i look at the cloth after wipeing and i'm seeing a bronzy color..well after cleaning 12 cymbals, i have to say i do like the stuff.... it seems to work well.. takes allot of rubbing but it works.. smooth A customs come out really nice.. and the others look richer.. i like how it's gets rid of what i think is the ugly yellow gold color and replaces it with a much richer allmost platnum tone..

ALL metal polishes remove a certain amount of metal. But it's little enough that it ought not be a concern, unless you plan on polishing them daily.... be aware that the sound of your cymbals will change toward how they sounded when new. I find this desirable; some folks don't.

I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist.

This ain't no track meet; this is football.

Hey, RIM:

I have found that (once you have gotten the cymbals clean or if you do this from the start), if you use one of those mist waxes that you simply spray on and wipe off on a regular bases, you will never have to polish those cymbals again!
