+1... and not something a bass player wants to hear.

It looks odd with the reversed head and tuner arrangement. Kind of Hendrixesque. The body is awesome.

Do you play with the E on the bottom or top?

Homemade Lefties with righty necks rule! You REALLY need bigger pics, though.

Drat. They were huge and I didn't want to suck up too much bandwidth so I shrunk 'em. When I get home tonight I'll post the big 'uns.

I play with the E closest to my head, in other words strung the opposite of righty. Lug does it the other way, though, as do some others.

Is it just me, or is the bridge set REALLY far back?

I think it sounds really good. I admit my bias. But other bassists and guitar players have told me they think it sounds good, too, (without being asked) so that encourages me that I'm maybe not deluding myself. As I've mentioned elsewhere the body ie very resonant, and I don't think you can go far wrong with Carvin humbucking pickups.

Dunno about the bridge. I had to move it that far back to get it to intonate correctly. I suppose that might be because of the righty neck, or maybe the body isn't a 100% accurate J copy.
