It was a great way to judge movement on a thread, and see who was in on it. I still think some sticky threads, like JC's excellent theory thread, a new poster thread, etc. would be good. Although I did get a LOT of things done this weekend. I do miss seeing who posted last on a thread......often that is why I will look at a thread again. A little unhappy that after posting, you get taken back to your post instead of the opening screen. My first place to look....I'm thinkin' "What does Jeremy say about that?" or "Is _____________ gonna raise hell?" I also worry about this "Quick Reply" screen at the bottom. Will people "knee jerk" simply because replying is so easy? One nice feature: click on the bottom of the page where it logs visitors, and it'll tell you whose been around in the last 15 minutes. "Let's raise the level of this conversation" -- Jeremy Cohen, in the Picasso Thread. Still spendin' that political capital far faster than I can earn it...stretched way out on a limb here and looking for a better interest rate. I could take or leave the "quick reply", even though I'm using it right now. I like the "report post" feature and the accompanying "blown whistle" icon -- a.k.a., the "snitch" feature or the "tattle-tale" feature or the "responsible citizen of high moral character" feature. The "featured topic" sticky thread could come in handy, especially when it's hooked up to the up'n'coming, totally slammin' LDL website that 0-9 is putting together.
