Being a sociopath with a 128 track computer/recorder, I tend to get quite a lot done, and quickly. Lately I've been focusing on the unfocased. i.e. One man improv. Lots of fun, and scares even me. If you're interested, check out the Bad Jazz series of tunes. 5 and 6 were improvised, one track after another. Or one instrument, rather. 7 is an experiment. www.mp3.com/badjazz eek, mp3, I know, but they were pretty well encoded... Anyway, I haven't heard much of this type of thing from one person. all the better, perhaps.... Anyway, anyone in the Eugene Oregon area looking to avant-jam, drop me a line.... Doc

I would suggest you to check out the latest offering by Jethro Tull frontman Ian Anderson. The album's name is "The Secret Language of Birds". Ian played the majority of the featured instruments on it. Also someone here mentioned "Tubular Bells" by Mike Oldfield... In this regard I would recommend you to check out some of his other recordings as well. They would be "Hergest Ridge", "Ommadown", "Incantations", "Platinum"... etc. Vladislav
