I didn't think it was a controversial theory, it's been around for some time.

The polio vaccine was created using monkeys correct? and that's where the aids virus crossed into the human population.

They have the same fear the asian bird flu virus may do the same.

cheers

Well, so far, it appears that the medical community has "generally" been opposed to it...and that may be due to the HUGE pharmaceutical lobby.

Just have to get my plug in..... Eat more garlic . :D

And this in regard to AIDS:

Garlic is the most extensively studied herb for inhibiting infections, and its application to AIDS has been repeatedly suggested as a result of laboratory and clinical investigations, based on its apparent or implied efficacy and known safety. Nonetheless, it is not common practice for health professionals to recommend ingestion of garlic to AIDS patients. This is an unfortunate situation, as garlic has the advantages of being easily accessible, inexpensive, and generally free of side-effects--other than producing an obvious odor, which apparently deters a substantial number of potential users.

Yeah...but eating a lot of garlic is akin to having one of the "social diseases"...

...'cuz everyone will stay away from you. ;)

Sorry...couldn't help that bit of levity.
