Anifa Posted May 4, 2005 Author Share Posted May 4, 2005 TeChristian, I've never really solicited my music materials on my site, but have made them available to those curious enough to explore through my site. I have some inconspicuous links to my creative materials titled "Words of Inspiration" and "Whispers of Anifa" that are both linked from my home page. Those links are accessible through the static frame on the left hand side on all pages of my site. Also, on the home page there are two graphic links in a divider bar near the bottom of the page labeled as such. The Words of Inspiration pages are all original poetry written by myself with my original photography dropped in the background of the pages. The Whispers of Anifa pages are all original song materials written, composed, performed musically and vocally, and recorded by myself; many of the pages have the music files embedded as background music to the page, where most are available as a download as well. Again, the pictures used as backgrounds to the pages are my own original art. Both pages have links acrossed the top table that provide access to all the materials that I've done solo and currently have hosted on my site. I'm listening to some of those dropped in as background tunes, and it appears that my server may have re-optimized the tunes for streaming... as a few of them have skipped. The original .mp3's placed on the site did not have any skips in them; the downloads should be better.... I think that I opted them at 128K. Bbach1 Posted May 4, 2005 Share Posted May 4, 2005 From reading this thread Ani, it does appear that the thing that makes you angry is that they are making money in some fashion or another and involving your free music files. I would say that would ruffle my feathers a bit also. I would have to side with you on the issue, and I would take up the advice of others on this forum as to remedies you could use.
