djwayne
Just got back from seeing and meeting Jen Chapin, (Harry Chapin's Daughter), at a concert in Cleveland...Jen was great !! If you're into the artsy/fartsy, beatnick type jazz, with stand up bass, great vocals and jazz guitar this concert was for you...Sort of a mix between Nora Jones and Ricky Lee Jones....excellent stuff !! I requested one of her songs named "Gold" they played a great rendition of it, and the crowd loved it... You can hear Jen and some of her music at her website ..... http://www.jenchapin.com/ Living' in the shadow, of someone else's dream....

djwayne
Boy if there was ever an arguement about mp3 steams vrs cd quality, this is a fine example of great recording sound available on a cd. I've been listening to her songs on the website (Streams), which sound good, but while at the concert, bought two of her cd's, Linger and Open Wide, and they both sound fantastic. Linger is my favorite, with great drum sounds, reverbs, long trails on the cymbols, vocals, ect..... Excellent quality recording !! Sounds great on my 2.1 system !!
