Diefreepers, where in Alaska are ya? I used to live in Valdez and Anchorage.

Ted, It's Sean Mormelo. We've spoken before. Freepers and now this are just my post election names. :)

Looks like we are going to be leaving Alaska Come springtime even though I know I'll miss it everyday. Decided I want to get a few acres up here in the next 5 years so that someday we may spend summers here. It's tough to live anywhere else though once you've lived up here. It's just too crowded.

Gotcha, Sean...sorry...I didn't recognize the handle. Sorry to hear you'll be leaving Eagle River. I miss it up there, too. Would like to get back...mainly to Valdez. Even like to go back there in the winter. Ah well, one of these years.

I used to live in Montana and saw them all the time. They're way coooool. I'm really into that sort of stuff. Sometimes (even in Nashville) staring into space is like Sat night at the movies.

Q: I did get up at 4AM this morning and saw the most spectacular view of a thin slice of the Moon and two other planets. Does anybody know what the other planets are that are traveling with the moon in the wee hours of morning???

Never in my life do I ever recall being able to see so many planets as clearly as you can the past few years. Last year I was really into Mars.

Yes, tomorrow morning, Wednesday Nov. 10, we'll have Mars on the bottom, then a thin slice of Moon, then bright Venus, and finally Jupiter. Great sight.

Just in time for the weather here in KC to begin sucking pond scum. :(
