John Brown
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, inexpenive sound card? The features that I need are : at least 1 1/4 inch instrument input at least 1 xlr mic input and 24/96 recording sampling. I really am just looking for a basic analog input card, and any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Dylan
I'd get an Echo MIA MIDI ($200) and a cheap preamp to handle the XLR input you need.
Alndln
The entire new EMU line(especially the 1820/1820m) are easily the best quality consumer/semi-pro units availible at the moment, especially sound quality-converter-wise and the drivers are fairly solid.
