hey, i just came up with "it's 3 a.m..." over at the "cliche lyrics" thread, does that work here? 3AM that "AM" could stand for anything- 3 Abstract Musicians 3 Administering Medication 3 Aggressive Malcontents 3 Apparent Meanies 3 Arbitrary Monarchs 3 Agoraphobia Masters 3 Arhythmatic Modernists 3 Atonal Modulations 3 Ape-like Monkeys
Originally posted by pokeefe777@msn.com: And if memory serves, the most liked name had something to do with spiders too... "That's a really BIG spider" or something like that...
Our drummer is nicknamed Spyder, so named by an old bandmate because he looks and sounds like he's got eight arms and legs behind the drums! My nickname given me by some of my friends in L.A. was "The Fli" which was a play on my last name of course. So if you put us together we're Spyder and The Fli. With the "y" and the "i" reversed. Weird huh? :D Spiders are cool! I had a pet tarantula as a kid and my favorite book was "Charlotte's Web". OK, I'll stop babbling now. :D --Lee

We're probably aiming towards something more ambiguous title wise.... Another problem is that a friend already has a band in town called "Head Shop". Not only that, we're not a hippie band, so...

LOL, this is kinda fun... I'll play. :D The first ones are based on the idea you just want people to show up... they'll never "get" your music from your name anyway... :D Free Beer. Girls Drink Free. Loose Drunk Chicks. All Top 40 Hits! Tonight's act CANCELED. SPECIAL GUEST... The next ones are more related to your music. Huh? Intelligencia. whattheheckisTHAT? Spirit of the Moment. Random Walk Theory. OneSongWonders. YouHadToBeThere. The Blenders. SPEW! Here's some with the spirit of a random generator... Voratious Inattention. Beautifully Monsterous. Unconscious Memories. Oddball Sushi. Good Luck! guitplayer

I'm still "guitplayer"!

Check out my music if you like...

LMAOROTF!!!! This is the funniest post I've seen in quite a while, yet I think you're getting some great advice, Chip! :D (To borrow from another thread...) How about.. Enron!!! If pressed, you can explain you play non-stop, for little or no cash. And if it gets wild enough, your investors (audience) can lose their pants, too!!! :D (Ok, maybe it would work better for a frat-party band..) Random thoughts.. (not randomizer) Spandex Pantywaist Where'd These Guys Come From? 3 Simultaneous Inspirations Fudbucket Mr. Horny Toad and the Lilypads Morphology 3 Heads in a Handbasket Occasional Consonance I'm completely delirious, and mostly ignoring the identity of your band, but you decide, Chip! ;)

It's easiest to find me on Facebook. Neil Bergman
