Okiver
Ive been paying guitar for a few months, and while im slowly starting to write my own version of what i hear in certain songs- im really stuck on the chords on Twisted Nerve by Be Your Own Pet. Its a pretty underrated band in my opinion, so i couldnt find any good filming of the live performance to hint at what type of chords the guitarist is implying to be playing, and since im a beginner i cant hear the guitar over the loud drums so im dont really know what to do but reach out here i guess. Any informaton would be really helpful and appreciated!! Even if its just tips and not the actual chords (if i made any english mistakes im no native speaker please dont come for me)
Larryz
@Okiver, The chords do not sound like chords to me (if this is the right song). It sounds like single notes on the lower strings cranked with some fuzz maybe. Could also be two note 5 chords. Anyway here's the best sample I could find and you could pick out single bass notes from it to start with perhaps. I hear a few chords here and there too...Hope this is helpful: 😎 Quote Take care, Larryz

KuruPrionz
There are some chords in there, it sounds like 2 different tracks of guitar to me. A difficult mix to parse, I wouldn't spend too much time on it at this point. 2 Quote It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is.
