Best workstation design, aka where to hide a piano

Recommended Posts

It's that time of year... moving a writing studio to a new location, and looking to improve ergonomics.

I'm looking for advice about great solutions to the DAW/synth conundrum... where to put the damn key controller/synth so that you can still use it and the computer without giving yourself cramps.

I'd like to incorporate an 88-key controller... I'd love to hear what works for anybody else!

That's the kind of idea I'm looking for, but I think I need something a lot bigger. The omnirax line is the closest I've gotten, but I'm wondering if anyone out there knows of something fringe and better.... worth a shot, anyway...

I think I'm going to break down and design and build my own workstation desk.

Easier that way.

**Standard Disclaimer** Ya gotta watch da Ouizel, as he often posts complete and utter BS. In this case however, He just might be right. Eagles may soar, but Ouizels don't get sucked into jet engines.
