CyberGene
Very sexy and terrific features! But that price... 😕 I'm keeping my Hydrasynth.

I knew it had to be double the cost of the Six. Quote Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
Konnector
It's kinda funny that people were quick to spend $2000+ on the latest synth 40 years ago and not really think about it. $4000 for this is probably fair, but there's so many other choices out there these days it makes it hard to justify for many. With many VST synths as good as the real deal these days it's harder than ever to get people excited over something like this....especially if it doesn't fit in a backpack!
Stokely
Indeed, for me any hardware (other than a controller that adds something awesome like poly aftertouch) is for live gigs...cover gigs...where the reality is I could bring a kazoo and nobody would care but me That of course doesn't stop me from trying to get a rig I like that's fun to play. I have more synths than I know what to do with on dropdown menus and some of these sound amazing. The reality is that cost of living has outpaced pay/benefits for a lot of people too, so that offsets the lack of inflation when it comes to keyboards (it's true, I remember walking into a store in 1981 or so and seeing a Poly six for something close to $3000....) ElmerJFudd
Yes of course, funds are being vacuumed up by rising interest rates and inflation pretty rapidly. It’s hard to justify $4k on music gear that isn’t a business expense or paying for itself in some way. I know I can’t go there. But still… hot damn, this thing is a head turner. GovernorSilver
Two separate sets of controls, one for each of the two layers, is pretty cool. Would love to see J3PO or an even younger hotshot like JLS get their hands on this thing Mentioned about 1:40 in
