Dak Lander
Jeez, what a bozo. I've been searching all over but can't find the name and url of the open source recording program that is supposed to be much like ProTools. Anyone? Bill Heins
Congrats on the install! If you really want to set up a DAW using that Linux check out this- http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/ By the way, Ardour is part of it Just go through and see all the apps that are installed. Dak Lander
Thanks Darkon. This Fedora is looking realy good after a couple of days. The DAW won't be this computer but a different one with more RAM in it. I just want to do some learning and testing on this one before I commit to the other box. I'll be asking for help on what to have installed as far as needed OS stuff and what to leave out of the install, Open Office & etc when the time come. Thanks for that link though I found it yesterday and printed out the CCRMA paper work yesterday so I guess I'm on the right track. Now all I gotta do is re-learn all this new OS crap so I can get up and running. I appreciate the help so far.
