Non-Hammond pedal for an SKX

I've been using a FC7 with an SK1 for years. Works fine. I had bought one of Hammond's $200 VPs, and it worked exactly like the FC7, so back it went.

The FC7 works okay. You have to set the EXP PEDAL control to REV (reverse) to use it correctly. The Hammond expression pedals are better; better throw and more precise. But the Yamaha works in a pinch and is cheap.

I use the EXP-50.  I really wish the SKX supported the kickswitch pedal my XK33c rig used (EXP-100f).  I miss the kickswitch a lot.  

 

Its high but The Exp-50 is a really good pedal.  It feels more like a swell pedal than any of the other options.  But that is just me.

Dang I thought $212 that I paid was high.  But I would buy it again.

PS-  Maybe if I were to raise a FC-7 on a platform by screwing it into a block of wood I would like it better for organ.

It was. Now it's even higher. Everything in 2022 is more expensive, if you can get it at all.
