ProfD
https://www.okayplayer.com/news/funk-jazz-soul-musician-bernard-wright-has-died-at-58.html Keyboardist Bernard Wright has passed away. Nard is most famously known for his session work with Tom Browne "Funkin for Jamaica" and his own solo record which yielded "Who Do You Love" back in the 1980s. Nard was from NY but he relocated to TX where he was still gigging and tearing it up on keys. His records were mined heavily for samples. Thanks for the music. RIP Mr. Wright.😎 Quote PD "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return."--E. Ahbez "Nature Boy"
Docbop
Real sad and from what I read it was a car accident. Thank you Bernard Wright for sharing your musical soul with us. RIP.
zephonic
I primarily knew him as Marcus Miller’s keyboardist, but I found out about his solo work a few years ago through some of the samples @ProfD mentioned.
