I doubt that WR Davante Adams will want out of Las Vegas if QB Derek Carr gets traded.  WR Adams knows it's a business.  That's part of the reason why he left a better QB in Green Bay.😎

Russ Wilson's teammates coming to his defense

Maybe he started taking them out to dinner more.

Elway never would have approved of the Wilson acq.   Poor decision making in Denver front office signing a QB on a downward trend.

I did.  Why would anybody sign a QB who gave up on his team when the going got rough?

Isn't hindsight wonderful?

Wilson was still playing at a high level last year FYI. So was Ryan. Every player has risk. IMO the big mistake Denver made was making such a long-term contact and grossly overpaying him. At least the Colts have at most one more year of Ryan.

The Titans QB for this evening was Josh Dobbs, an engineering graduate with 4.0 GPA who looks more like an engineering nerd than a football player, who has been on the team for a whopping 8 days.    He looks like he could be broken in half at any minute.

These undermanned Titans had no shot to beat the Cowboys, barring a couple more Dak Prescott picks/fumbles.   So I was mainly rooting for Dobbs to not be killed in front of his parents.

It almost seems silly to consider some teams playoff contenders.

I watched the Commanders shoot themselves against the Browns.  I had to listen to the announcers run through scenarios of how the Commanders could still make the playoffs.

The whole time I'm watching the Commanders play I'm thinking this is not a playoff team.

The same goes for other teams in both conferences. They will get into the playoffs through seeding but not because they play all that well. 😎

The Broncos played pretty great today on both offense and defense (made Mahomes look pretty bad).

One thing that comes to mind is that a great coach doesn't guarantee a winner, but a bad coach does guarantee a loser.

Jettisoning the bad coach and relieving the offensive play caller seemed to perk up the Broncos, but it's only one game against a possibly unfocused top seed.

The Broncos defense has been playing well all season long. They have been overshadowed by the lackluster offense.

In fact, the Broncos wanted their defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero to be interim head coach. He wisely declined it.

The Chiefs are cruising into the playoffs. I doubt they played full throttle against the Broncos today.😎

Aannnnnddd the Bucs are back in the playoffs.

I never doubted it for a second...

Packers destroying the Vikings. After their hot start, I maintained all year that the Vikings aren't as good as their record and stand by that, but this is absurd. God knows the Packers aren't that good. Credit to their secondary though, totally handcuffing the Viking O.

that 20-play TD drive was a thing of beauty.

But aside from that Wentz made my jaw drop so much from all his miscues that I think I'll have to make an appointment with my dentist.

That drive was great. Those 3 INTs QB Wentz threw blew every chance the Commanders had of winning the game. Hope all goes well with the dentist. 🤣😎

Chargers  already booked their playoff berth last week but have a chance to land the 5th seed.   They won the Battle of LA without much resistance from the Rams, and even got to rest the starters by the 4th quarter.  No Baker Mayfield magic this time.

I think the Ravens would have had the 5th seed if they had won tonight.

I think the Steelers are out of the playoff hunt but they did much better than I expected this year.

The Steelers can keep head coach Mike Tomlin's streak of never having a losing season with a win against the Browns. 😎
