Docbop
That treadmill keyboard reminds me of back in the 70's when exercise classes and tights were the big thing. Gyms would have recumbent bicycles with small TV built in, but you had to pedal fast enough to generate the power to run the TV. Of everyone would sing Olivia Neutron Bomb's song Let's Get Physical while walking thru the gym.
MoodyBluesKeys
Got away from replacement just to get new toys. Have far more keyboards now than ability to play them. PC2 (at church), PC2X (at home), PC3 (at church), PC3X and 361 (in shop), SK1-73 (in shop). ALL are too heavy in their cases to carry around at my age and strength (not to mention fitting them into a 3 series BMW or Chevy Volt). Recent focus has been on apps for iPad/iPhone (where app prices are 1/10th of the app for a notebook), and LIGHTWEIGHT MIDI controllers, Samson Carbon 61 and IK Multimedia Keys37Pro. Not much playing outside church and home lately. Last outside one don was my very lightest and smallest rig: iPhone6 with Korg Module, Keys37Pro Controller, iPad5 with music sheets on OnSong, all fed into the other church's PA. I would sell a lot of the stuff, but there is little local market, and shipping expense for national sales. Lots of other stuff not used much at all: TraceElliot 200w powerFET amp with 2x10+horn cab and 1x15 cab; Fender (modified) Blues Jr Guitar amp, bunch of other stuff. Theo Verelst
The treadstone of the treadmill to me associates software, the endless attempts of windows to update unless you tell it not to, for instance. "I got these so many processors at 4GHz, and all these flash chips, and they all need to do something! Or on the cloud, it's like a json script to update endless numbers of versions to accommodate all kinds of software versions, wonderful options to get update and version lifelock or deadlock, if yo're in to that.which I am not. I want specific behavior from music equipment, and didn't spend more than minimun required for the quality products I went for, so I didn't do any treadmill walking on the side of equipment. Finding my studio signal considerations on the equipment often is like a treadmill, until it makes me miles further, suddenly, which defies the definition of the concept!
