KeyboardEric
I have a remote piano student in his 70s who has an older Clavinova CLP 880 with a sustain issue. The notes sustain when the pedal is up and when he presses it down the keys play normally. I instructed him do a factory reset by holding down the top note while turning on the keyboard but it didn't seem to solve it. The pedals are built into the structure of the piano so I don't know if there is a switch underneath that reverses the polarity (I'm assuming not). I read through the manual and while the pedals do have functions, this doesn't seem to be one of them. anyone else familiar with this model or have had this issue before? I'd like to help him fix it if I can. thanks! Quote dreamcommander.bandcamp.com
