RudyS
I also posted this in the Mike recordings studio, but there is not as much traffic there. Too bad actually. I may want to upgrade my old 2012 Mac mini to a 2020 one, but I keep reading about the "audio glitch bug" caused by the "T2 chip". Is this still something to worry about? I am using a Scarlett 18i8 (USB 2.0) interface. Also, if I go for a new Mac mini, is 32 gb of Ram enough, or should I go for 64gb? MoodyBluesKeys
First question, I don't have a late Mac, so don't know. Second question: Since whatever one you buy is non expandable, unless the price is just way outrageous, fill it up with the maximum (good general rule on devices that can't be expanded later). Same with drive capacity and processor. Groove On
It looks like the T2 chip problems were addressed in Mojave updates 10.14.4 and 10.14.5.
RudyS
Thank you for the replies. I read that the problems were indeed addressed in Mojave, but I also read some people still (believed to) have problems with it. Quote Rudy
