Joe Muscara
They're doing a national flyover tour and later today will be over Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and New Orleans. I think the whole four-city route will take them about 15 fifteen minutes. No, really. They hit Dallas at 11, Houston at 12:30, and New Orleans at 1:45, exiting there at 2:05. Ludicrous speed, indeed. Anyway, I don't know if we'll be able to see much from where I live as the flight path is a little west of here. But I plan to take my DSLR and long lens to the school grounds at the corner where it's a little more open and see if I can catch anything. Check Blue Angels on social media where they post their tour dates, routes, and times. Quote "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible! Joe Muscara
I almost missed them. I expected them to be over there (northwest) and when they first appeared they were over there (west and south of us). I got one okay shot and one of them behind the tree with just vapor trail. If we had stayed at the house, I might have had a better view. Quote "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible! KuruPrionz
Looks like you got them to me. I've shot lots of action, volleyball, ballet, burlesque, an attempt to capture a bird or two. None of it's easy, that's a nice image!!!!! Quote It took a chunk of my life to get here and I am still not sure where "here" is.
Joe Muscara
Thanks. As a typical musician/creative, I'll just say I got lucky. Quote "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible! Lou Gehrig Charles
Perfect timing too, between the trees. The trees add some perspective and help make the shot work.
KuruPrionz
Thanks. As a typical musician/creative, I'll just say I got lucky. I went to college for photography - yes a poor life decision. One of my teachers said "You have to be ready to be lucky." It looks like you were ready. Those jets weren't in that spot for long!!!!! I have a shot that I took immediately after that one, all you can see is the dispersing vapor trail going behind the tree! Quote "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible!
