ElmerJFudd Posted April 17, 2020 Share Posted April 17, 2020 The KAPro soundcloud demos sound really nice for solo piano. Attack is bright, should be fine for playing with a band with some tweaking. Joel Bouchillon Posted April 17, 2020 Share Posted April 17, 2020 My main beef with ALL the factory Kronos piano's is that that sustain is very unnaturally short. It seems that immediately after a key is stuck, the note dies away too fast. I find myself over-pedaling the sustain-pedal just keep the sound.... well......sustaining. Very un-natural when comparing the Kronos to a real grand piano. The FA pianos have a quicker strike and sustain My solution is work velocity curve in Global for Kronos. What I discovered, is that the sampled or modeled, or whatever digital acoustic pianos record beautifully along with other instruments. To have an excellent recording is my priority.
