desertbluesman
Way cool. I usually do not play the videos on these forums but I did watch most of that one, it was real interesting surprisingly. Cool dbm If it sounds good, it is good !! http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=143231&content=music
Larryz
Thanks P90, Great video on Strat history! A couple of things I would have liked to see included was why and when the original saddles were changed to the newer ones (I like the newer flat design as it's more comfortable for resting my palm) and the reason for no tone knob on the bridge pup...I did learn that the sealed tuners with the F logo on them were made by Schaller! I really love the pop in/out whammy bar over the screw in types on the newer American Deluxe that was a great innovation that was not mentioned. Also the curved neck mount innovation, etc. All in all, there was a lot of great info on the early models regarding the pups not matching and the covers eroding, hot rod paint colors like Hank Marvin's (of the Shadows) red TBird, etc. Thanks! Take care, Larryz
