techristian
I know I said that I would have my CD done DECEMBER 2002. Then I moved the deadline to 6 months later. Then 6 months again. Then I said I would have it ready for Vancouver. Now I'm saying that it will be done before I go to Nashville this Summer. If you see me LESS OFTEN HERE, it is because the home stretch excitement is driving me harder. Botch.
You might as well write software updates. Seriously, looking forward to hearing the new disk! YourMotherShouldKnow
Great pic Super!! Tech, hang in there buddy. There is an end to the maze. I was pretty sure my CD would be packaged by Christmas 2003. As it happens, I made some changes and the final mastered CD should be here next week. And then artwork takes FOREVER. It'll come together. Keep workin'.
techristian
Super 8 See ya in five years... Actually I started on this thing right after I finished my Plastic World video...sometime Jan 2001. I have worked with many different hardware/software combos since then. I only do this part time a few hours a day ,but many times I must push myself after getting home from work. It is much easier to sit here and surf then to subject my nervous system to hours of loud music and critical listening. I have discovered something though. I don't think my ears can take 8 continuous hours of mixing and editing. When I retire, I'll probably work in 3 hour increments. Sometimes when things SEEM to groove I want to keep going, but when my ears are more sensitive the next day, I find that my eq settings are in outer space and the mix must be done over. In 2 hours of jamming I can make enough noise that it takes me 16 hours of editing to get the good stuff arranged. Anyway, 2 hours of production was enough for today. I've been very tired lately, even with 8 hours of sleep. This is my QUITE TIME.
