whitefang
Also many NON-surfers. Back in those times, many here in MI were fascinated with surfing and surfing movies, since we do so LITTLE of it here. Rest in peace, Bruce. And thanks for such a wonderful and interesting film. Whitefang I started out with NOTHING...and I still have most of it left!
d halfnote
Didn't know of the cat. That track's well played. I'll look it up but for purposes off enlightenment here, was that Musical Director or Film Director ? d=halfnote

surfergirl
I was sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. The WSL would not be what it is today without Bruce. My grandpa and I have watched Endless Summer every Christmas eve since I was 1, this will be year 17. I have watched at least 40 times. Jenny S. Larryz
Again, Welcome aboard Surfergirl! Cool having a surfer girl on the forum from Hawaii! +1 Endless summer is truly a surfing classic for sure! Hope your Granpa surfed too! My surfing days ended 27 years ago at the age of 40. All my fun was along the northern California coast mainly in the Santa Cruz area... Take care, Larryz

Eric Iverson
I never saw "Endless Summer" - probably should check it out as a curiosity. I'm from Iowa, and no one went surfing on the Des Moines River, LOL. Of course, I was aware of the surfing culture through movies and songs on the radio. I've only been surfing a couple of times, and enjoyed it - never really part of my life in any major way. Of course, for those who are into it, God bless you and keep up the good work LOL.
