WesG
Amps, power supply, and 15" speaker are good parts if you're into repairing 760s. Delaware Dave
From the theatre organ site: Model 700 Cabinet: Wood Dimensions: 33" x 29" x 21" Rotors: Roto-Sonic type C Amplifiers: 2 Channel Solid State 90 watt Speeds: Fast-Slow Speakers: 2-S,N,P Belts: A,B Motor-fast: 1 Motor-slow: 2 Hookup: 9 Notes: Built to be used with Hammond LSI organs like the Concorde, but worked with the two channel Lowrey, Baldwin, Yamaha and other 70s vintage organs. I actually heard an A105 played through a 710. Not sure how different a 710 is from a 700. It didn't sound that bad. Not in a league with a tube leslie but not that bad either. Would have to be priced accordingly. 57 Hammond B3; 69 Hammond L100P; 68 Leslie 122; Kurzweil Forte7 & PC3; M-Audio Code 61; Voce V5+; Neo Vent; EV ELX112P; GSI Gemini & Burn Delaware Dave Exit93band
The Real MC
760s were under appreciated until the last twenty years. Now they command top dollar behind 122 and 147.
WesG
760s are outstanding Leslies. I'm working on a cheap+easy conversion to turn 710s into 760 equivalents. Should be fun. The major hang up is sourcing rotors at a reasonable price. Delaware Dave: 700 and 710 are very different (except for the amps, motors and power supply; then only somewhat different). The 710 is a centaur. The top half is a 760. The bottom half is a rotosonic abomination. MuzikTeechur
I own a 710 and a 715. 710 is with my Concorde, and is a 9-pin. 715 is with my A105 and is 11-pin. 700 wasn't built for the Concorde, that's the 710 - according to Captain Foldback it "works with the T-115 spinet and a few solid state models that followed." Both have horns, "belt" speakers, and low rotor. I had to buy a Hammond/Suzuki 1174 Kit to make the A105 work with the 715. Muzikteechur is Lonnie, in Kittery, Maine. WesG
Lonnie, 715 is an 11-pin 710, right? I should keep an eye out for one. It would have most of the parts to create an 11-pin 760, which would be really convenient if I ever buy a Hammond clonewheel.
