Gary75
Such a useless design, tired of the female plug end opening up over time. At some point, they fail. What do you seasoned guys use/rental rigs? There must be a military grade locked (like the power socket/plug I have on the organ) affair that carries 6 pins? I have seen modded Leslie's with this type of heavy duty plug/socket. Ideally one that locks like an XLR.
mate stubb
Yes, Amphenol makes them, as do others. Moe ---

WesG
Moe: What Amphenol connector are you thinking of? b3boy: you can use Cannon EP-6 (easiest) or AMP-CPC connectors and stay with a "listed" solution. Neutrik NL-8 is another option, but they don't carry the right certification for mains power (and should not be used outside of North America) I have a 760 equipped with Cinch-Jones S318 connectors, and while this is better than stock, I do not recommend them. mate stubb
I was thinking of the old mil spec connectors I used to use. Something like this, but twist lock instead of threaded. http://www.alliedelec.com/images/products/Small/70143494.jpg Moe ---
