I've felt very comfortable placing 88-key controllers in the SKB cases with wheels, e.g., 1SKB-5817W. I make sure to glue the supplied foam pads in different places such that the keyboard is both well protected and easy to take out & put back. Also, these cases are easy to tilt and roll around.

88-key controllers I have in these SKB cases include the Roland A-90 and Ensoniq KT-88. (I don't feel right putting these in bag-type cases, I really want something sturdier.)

The SKB site reports this case at 57" long,

Sweetwater says the Roland A-88 is 56.81" so that's a really tight fit.

What case would you recommend for this controller?

What level of protection do you need?

I have come to the conclusion that a hard case would be best. I know I can have a custom case made but I was hoping for a less expensive alternative.

Peace
