bourniplus
Hey guys, I'm trying to use Cantabile lite on a recording session and have a question. I'm trying to use VB3. My audio interface seems setup correctly, I can hear the metronome. However, there is no sound from the plugin. It's probably something I have to assign but I can't find it. Any quick suggestion? Sven Golly
Nowhere near enough information to accurately diagnose this, but have you configured your MIDI device correctly? That is to say, is VB3 even receiving any MIDI data?
bourniplus
Yes my MIDI is setup, but even the onscreen keyboard doesn't produce sound, so I figured the problem is somewhere else? Sven Golly
Yes my MIDI is setup, but even the onscreen keyboard doesn't produce sound, so I figured the problem is somewhere else? Yep... your initial post didn't make that clear, so I had to ask. What happens when you try a different plugin in that slot in the rack?
Sven Golly
Also, the more information you provide about your system, the better everyone will be able to help... so OS version, 32- or 64-bit mode, audio and MIDI hardware, what audio driver, etc.... bourniplus
What happens when you try a different plugin in that slot in the rack? Same thing. My PC is an old Dell on Win 7 and I have a Tascam interface. I used to use the same system with an older version of Cantabile. "Show me all the blueprints. Sven Golly
Where is the metronome sound being generated?
bourniplus
Not sure if I understand the question, it goes through my audio interface. "Show me all the blueprints. Sven Golly
Not sure if I understand the question, it goes through my audio interface. I mean what is creating the sound of the metronome? Is it within Cantabile, or are you routing audio in from an external device or keyboard?
bourniplus
Ok I got it to work. I'm not sure what I did but it works. Thanks for the replies. "Show me all the blueprints.
