BluesKeys
Ike is a B3 master as well a synth guru. I caught him at a new club in Athens, GA this week. He lives there and does a little trio gig from time to time at Live Wire. What a fine player and great guy. He was playing a Hammond Sk2 and was killin' it. He invited me up for a little funk thing and he grabbed his customized (cool paint job) Roland Keytar and we had a blast. Afterwards he gave me his card and invited me to call and come over to his studio. I can't wait to see it and what Hammonds he has! Check him out if you haven't before. Jimmy Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others. mate stubb
My band has picked up a couple of Ike tunes recently. He's deceptively simple, but it's hard to cop his rhythmic sense. I'm wrestling with Rolling Over Nola right now. Moe ---
