Besides those who search for a specific topic (I guess they come here from a search engine result), I've seen some say they went to the home page and were replying to the topics there, which happened to be years old. I've never run into that, so I can't say if it's a real glitch in the forum software or user error. Maybe they accidentally clicked one of the page numbers along the top or bottom.
