GovernorSilver
We live in an age where analog monosynths can be purchased for a few hundred dollars a pop. What this means is, if you could afford it, there's no reason not to pick up a Minitaur, Mini or Microbrute, Bass Station, and--definitely--the MS 20 Mini. Each of them is a different beast, so why not own them all and chain them up? I have a couple from that list myself (Microbrute, MS-20 Mini), as well. I'd love to see an IOS version of this app someday - let's you play multiple monosynths as a polysynth; http://polymer-app.com/
CEB
Dominion X is what is on my radar but it is a little more money. mcgoo
Oh....their Origin was pretty cool. +1 I really enjoyed the Origin. I really enjoyed drooling all over RedKey's Origin at the Midwest hang a few years ago. I have the V-Collection. Like it. I find the CS-80's display too small for my monitor's setting for me to get too excited about programming, but the other ones are a lot of fun. GovernorSilver
Can a brute be delicate? Well listen to what Mike Leghorn does with it ... https://soundcloud.com/mike-leghorn/aria-from-the-goldberg into Moog. It's just another beautiful analog flavor. What's not to love? He sure makes a Microbrute sound nice there. BTW, dB you might be able to get a 1-5 cable splitter from Toys R Us for cheep. I got one for $3.50 after hearing a rumor that it's actually a rebranded Belkin Rockstar. You must go into a physical store to get one at the cheep price. It should look like this: http://www.toysrus.com/graphics/product_images/pTRU1-16948952dt.jpg You can see example applications of this splitter, for increasing your patching options, in this video (actually from the very beginning) and other vids by the same user - granted the sounds are not as delicate as Mr. Leghorns: [video:youtube]
