Tobias Åslund
...by getting a 1973 Hammond Concorde for my living room! Will go to Stockholm this Saturday and collect it... and I might even get a Leslie 310 to go with it, when I stop by Swedish Hammond on the way home... Yeah, I know it's not a tonewheel... but it has a funky auto-vari drum machine built in... should count for something, right...? and the most important - dual drawbar sets and full pedal! Why now? Well - it's a damn good price, cheaper than your average L100 - and I much rather have real pedals than a tone wheel engine at this moment. The main point is to have something to try to play bass pedals on. This Concorde is way cheaper than a set of XPK-200L pedals... Hard choice...nah... In the near future I might MIDI-fy it, or even put in a HOAX board - after all, I'm an electronics engineer... I need a new hobby project! Ah, let it be saturday soon! Too much stuff, too little time, too few gigs, should spend more time practicing...! 🙄 main instruments: Nord Stage 3 compact, Yamaha CP88, Kurzweil PC4, Viscount KeyB Legend Live
Tobias Åslund
Well, after discussing with players and technicians wiser than me, I won't pickup the 310 after all. I'll wait for a decent 760 or similar instead. Nothing will stop me from getting the Concorde though... not even a blizzard... now that I think of it - a blizzard would be nice! We need snow, damnit! First time in at least five years we have a christmas without snow... Anyway... Hammond Concorde in my living room! mate stubb
I've got an XK-1C on the way. Thought I would try a modern Hammond, and I need a light single manual organ to go with my PX-5S. Moe ---
