At least that has been my experience. At the last Trio concert, not only was there a lot of coughing, someone even took a video on a iPhone and posted it on Youtube. At least that has been my experience. +1 I suffered the wrath at one of solo shows at Carnegie but managed to escape a trio show there unscathed. I saw the first Carnegie solos show that they put onto the double CD but opted out of the second one - my piano teacher said it was an epic rant! I have seen his trio four or five times with no incidents. As my wife put it: If he wants the audience to control their coughing he should control his moaning.
