Nord stage2 HA88 chasing the note onstage

Is anyone else have issues with the Nord stage2 HA88. Had mine since March of last year. It is in the shop for evaluation. Never had a keyboard in the shop. Keeps going out of tune with all the transpose, global and pitch stick parameters programed to off. They are trying to figure it out. Just want to know if anyone else has suggestions as to why this would be happening to this beautiful machine. I have the newest version updates and set all parameters to off that might effect the A440 freq.

No issues at all with mine, Billy. Unless you're regularly using dubious power supplies, it just sounds like an unfortunately random electronic fault with one of the boards inside.

Aidian thanks for the responce. I was on the Nord forum asking for a recomendation for a good Voltage line conditioner on stage. I was told it is quite impossible because it is what brought it to the attention of Pablo who is doing his best to nail it down. Are you still using the Hammonk XK-3? Still have mine. It is the one piece a still have of my Keyboards after selling them all off to purchase the Nord. Paid cash for it and now I am using S90 donated by a freind for gigs.Love that little Hammond.

Spent almost a year with human error. Figured maybe my hands were traveling north when in the heat of a solo. Had that event with the Roland RD700sx. I ran through all the human error possiblitis with the Nord Forum. The one human error I did not run accross is the one year warranty date of March 14 2012. I have been told it could be a bad flash chip off the Fatar keybed, An unrully floating integer, hand built in Sweden on a day high in human error. Or simply putting my trust in Nord with my artistic endevors in my studies and the live performances. I digress, thank you for the input

Yeah, I still have the XK system. I was hit with a pretty hefty tax bill in January and put both the Kronos and the XK up for sale in a kind of desultory way (just on Sound On Sound classifieds to start with, not wanting to pay FeeBay). But no bites on either. In the end, I decided that I'd spent a huge amount of time (not to say cash) building the XK system bit by bit, so it made sense to keep it, as it's essentially a specialist instrument in its own right. For the rest, I really have all I need in the Stage and so I will shortly make some real effort into selling the Kronos, which is probably the more easily sellable item anyway.

I am using an old Motion Sound Pro-3T with a pair of 57's mounted with ampclamps on either side into a pair of Barbetta Sona 32's coming out of #3 on the Nord, or send on the XK-3. If the real estate on stage will allow. Try to stay in stereo as often as I can. I miss the Nord, keep thinking it's time to shedd but i look over and it's not there. Keeping the faith.

Received an e-mail from Clavia DMI AB. Very interested in why I am having issues with the NS2 HA88. It is a very rare event with so many Nord units out there using poor power sources all using the same type transformer with no issues. I believe, but not sure, the Nords are brought down to 5 ½V DC +/- , typical with most computer based Systems. I have been told the voltages could go down to 60V which would cause the unit to shut down and attempt to reboot constantly until addressed. Sorry about the band width here but, I have no keyboard to shed with and that to me is the bottom line. Good intensions abound here from all and I am very grateful for the help. A small caveat, the Wife allowed me to purchase this beautiful keyboard in the hopes of keeping me out of her hair. "NOT NOW MAYBE LATER!" Now Im back to bugging the crap out of her. She says they better fix this fast before I start bitching to them about it. Go get them Baby! Yea let loose the well you get the idea. She is a true patron of the Arts.

Last Detuned on Sunday Feb. 17th, Stopped playing the Nord after packing her up from stage to home. Taken to the repair shop on Feb. 26th. No word from the tech as of todays' post. Over three weeks since I have had her charged up to play. I have the Hammond XK3 on the stand working on the chops but dam do I miss the HA88. It took me almost a year of second guessing myself to beleive that it was happening so I guess The tech has no easy fix here. Keeping the Faith, that's all I can do.

Hello, I have received a new NS2 HA88 this past Saturday from my friends at Sweetwater Sound. They are the best (IMHO). Clavia DMI AB, American Music and Sound, thank you for your help.
