Nillerbabs
Hello folks! I recently bought a Fulltone OCD for my recently acquired Wurlitzer, and it's absolutely perfect for the job - nice and thick, plenty dirty. I need some destruction on my synth as well, so I tried my NL2x through the OCD as well, and I was sad to realize that the pedal cuts out all of those soaring, sizzling highs that the synth outputs. Therefore I'm looking for a method of distortion for my synth in pedal-form. What am I looking for? Fuzz? Something else? Recommendations appreciated :-) Best regards Niels When in doubt, superimpose pentatonics.
Steve Force
The best distortion I get on synths is overdriving the amplification--easy to do on modulars. Have you looked at Moogerfoogers? Nillerbabs
Not yet, but for what I need they're out of the budget. The distortion I'm looking for is probably also more extreme than said overdrive - I really need it to be able to go into ridiculous overload mode. When in doubt, superimpose pentatonics. Steve Force
I have the OCD as well so I get the tone you are after. Does it need to be a pedal? If not, consider something like this: http://synthesizers.com/q108.html Steve Force, Durham, North Carolina -------- My Professional Websites
