Strymon Lex

Anyone here using the Lex with organ? If so, please give us your opinion.

There is a really good clip on YouTube, with Lex vs Ventilator, but apart from that I haven't found much.

"This is my rig, and if you don´t like it....well, I have others!"

"Think positive...there's always something to complain about!"

I had both (as well as a H&K Rotosphere). I tried them all on guitar and keys.

IMO, the Vent was a clear winner for organ.

For guitar I think I slightly preferred the Rotosphere. But it was close and I don't use a leslie as much for guitar.

The Lex was a good pedal. It's extremely tweakable and Strymon makes quality stuff. It's possible that with the right settings you could get close to the others, but I just didn't find that it surpassed the Vent or Rotosphere for guitar or keys - especially in terms of just being able to plug & play. (It did have an advantage in the size and power adapter categories...)

I also recorded some other stuff with the Lex:

(tube saturation from a electro harmonix 2be preamp)

you can simply compare the difference with the Ventilator:

they both sound great, but the Ventilator is my favourite....
