I'm not sure why you would say that unless you think NO keyboard should have a transpose function...which I would agree with There have been at least two recent threads about this, and so I won't repeat all the reasons they can be useful. But certainly, if you never need it, don't use it! Not every guitarist needs to own a capo, either. Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug!
