"the invention of DEVO / 1965"

Haahh! And perhaps the offshoot conglomerate, Men At Work.:D

That was a pretty cool, pretty funny intro routine they did there, not to mention the following performance. :thu::cool:

Ask yourself- What Would Ren and Stimpy Do?

Ahead of their time!

Who knew back then that by 2012, most popular music would come out of MACHINES anyway?

Since watching that video, this song has been running through my head, and I wound up watching most fo the sidebar videos on YouTube as well. Late 60's early 70's PowerPop, I can't get enough of it.

"Call me what instrument you will, though you can fret me, yet you cannot play upon me.'-Hamlet

Guitar solos last 30 seconds, the bass line lasts for the whole song.

I remeber cruising to Along Come Mary in my uncle's 59chevy Impala in the desert night air with the windows down when it first came out, along with Satisfaction by the Stones, Black is Black, Red Rubber Ball, one after another on the AM radio...very cool songs...Devo in later years with their funny little plastic hats, were also ahead of their time...
Take care, Larryz
